New Zealand's Warm Sun Playing in McLeod Bay

With the rain pelting down, and cosy fire warming our toes after a day of hard labour sorting out the house - it was a great evening to curl up on the possum skin rug and watch a DVD. And then the sun poked out from underneath the dark rain soaked clouds - it was too good! We threw on our raincoats and went out to enjoy the sun playing in our bay...

Great shots! Glad I found the time to check out your latest photos! Can't wait to see them framed and hanging in your house! You need a .8 job as a Kindergarten Teacher so you have all those afternoons free to do your amazing artwork!!!! (if only you could find one of those .8 positions)

Thanks Tania. Yes I dream of the dream job - funny I seem to remember applying for a .8 position once - I wander what happened! Anyway it was great to get out and enjoy this beautiful place and stop to smell the 'roses' once in a while. See you tomorrow for another .8 day.

Lovely photos and the one of the sunset taken through the rushes is quite unique! Fantastic perspective shot there -- I stumbled it.

Gorgeous! I really love them all equally because they are each so unique and beautiful in their own way.

You have inspired me to do more sunsets and sunrises, thank you! :)
