Kruger National Park - Southern Africa
This hot New Zealand weather is reminding me of our 2006 summer in Africa. Here is a photo from that time. A kingfisher perched near our car at Krugar National Park and posed for a photo shoot. I was able to explore the kingfisher through my Canon 55-300mm lens, from the confines of our car (somewhat restricting) - and it was most co-operative.

Why hello there! Thanks for coming by my place, glad I could be of some inspiration. your pictures are very lovely, they look a bit pixelated though, on my screen, but the smaller ones look great :)
Oops, I take that back, (didn't realize they were clickable) :D
Thanks chica for your comments. Mmmm pixilated - they don't appear like that on my screen - but hate to think they look that (without clicking) on other people's screens. I wonder how I resolve that? Any suggestions from anyone?
Luv the kingfisher photo and the sunsets. They look good on my screen whether large or small. (Sis Penny)
Thanks Sis Penny - I did change it and made the smaller pics smaller. Thanks for your comment.
